Our products are covered for two years against manufacturing defects from the day of purchase. The warranty covers issues in craftsmanship and materials and doesn’t apply to normal wear-and-tear and natural variation in leather. To put it simply, you should try to use your K2 product with care i.e. do not over load it with cards or items beyond its capacity as it can stress out materials and stitching. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, or modification of the product.

All k2 goods are made from high quality full-grain leather. We select the highest-grade hides, because the character of good leather underlines the quality of design, and it is the most important decision for the subsequent quality of our products. A major focus in our design and supply chain process lies on sustainability. Our leathers are sustain-ably sourced and the products are made-to-last so that we minimise the impact on our environment.

We design our wallets to have the best balance of thinness, material craftsmanship and durability. So they may not be the slimmest but they are "made to last". 

The natural characteristic of leather is that it softens up over time and adapts to the use. Thus, as the leather settles in on its folds and seams, the wallet will become even slimmer. 

One could (theoretically) make a slimmer wallet by putting a cling wrap around cards or sticking items together using Blue Tack, but how long lasting would that be?

Talented and creative people whom we work with, across geographies, are amongst our greatest assets. Currently, makers in Vietnam, Pakistan and China offer the best balance of superior craftsmanship and value that we could find, so this is where our products come into existence.

When manufacturing in these regions, there can be concerns regarding treatment of people, environmental impacts and social responsibilities, therefore all of our suppliers have to comply with a Supplier Code of Conduct. You can find some of our broader thoughts on sustainable manufacturing here.

Currently, we are an online only brand. This helps us deliver better value to our customers but unfortunately it also means that you may not be able to see our products in person.

Yes, we ship Worldwide! Shipping is Free within Australia and New Zealand. That said, shipping costs will apply for international shipping (calculated at the final step of the checkout process). We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

Shipping is free on all orders to AUS and NZ. Our shipping is handled through AusPost or DHL.

We want you to have your new k2 as soon as possible, so in-stock items typically ship out 1-2 business days after the order is placed (or if it’s a pre-order, then on the date specified on the product page).

Delivery takes between 2-6 business days depending on your location. You'll be able to track your package by using the Shipping Confirmation email that we send as soon as your order begins its journey. Please allow 2 business days to receive your shipment notification email after placing your order.

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

We offer a 30 day returns policy. Your satisfaction is of great value to us. We have a tight quality control process (and we spend a lot of time improving it!) however as we are mostly humans (while some of us are robots), mistakes can happen.

If we have sent you a defective product or you have not received what you had ordered, send it back to us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll issue a full refund (including the shipping cost!) or replace it, as per your choice .

If you have had a change of heart (or mind) and would like to return an item, we will still offer a full refund however the return shipping cost would not be covered. We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, Paypal and all major payment mechanisms. All transactions are in Australian Dollars. All payments made on www.karakoram2.com.au are secure - we use the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available) - and we do not store any of your payment information.

If you have placed an order and wish to add additional items to it, simply drop us a line at support@karakoram2.com and we’ll do what we can to assist.

Please contact us or email us at support@karakoram2.com before the shipment of your order (usually you receive an email confirming the shipment) and we would be able to halt the shipment and would cancel the order. If you email us after your order has been shipped, it would be treated as a return (under our return policy).

If your order didn’t arrive within the maximum allowable lead time, simply drop us a line with your order details at support@karakoram2.com. We would investigate the issue and ship out a replacement accordingly.
